Dieser Bidjar Teppich stammt aus einer kurdischen Kleinstadt im westlichen Persien und ist bekannt für seine Strapazierfähigkeit und Robustheit durch seine besonders feste Knüpfung durch den traditionellen türkischen Knoten. Diese Technik macht den Teppich schmutzabweisend und garantiert seine Langlebigkeit: sein Flor wird mit einem Kamm so fest zusammengedrückt, dass er beinahe senkrecht nach oben steht. Beliebt ist das Herati-Muster als Design, es kommen jedoch auch Medaillon- und Blumenmusterungen vor.
